Our Expectations of Volunteers
• Commitment: our clients, staff, and community partners count on you to follow through with tasks in a timely, responsible manner
• Professionalism: always treat clients, staff and other volunteers with dignity and respect, and represent LCA well in public.
• Confidentiality: withhold sharing any specific information about a client/staff/volunteer of LCA with anyone other than LCA staff.
• Communication: the keys to a good volunteer experience include feeling free to ask questions openly of LCA staff and providing feedback about your experience, interests, etc. We need to know if there are problems, if you have ideas to improve our services, events, or volunteer program, and whether or not your experience is meeting your expectations. We also ask that you let us know as early as possible when you cannot complete a task or participate as scheduled.
